(SWX Swiss Exchange “MBTN”) publicly announced on March 30th 2007 that the Company gained another promising customer in the Chinese market and is participating in the customer’s plans for expansion. In conjunction with the contract communicated, Meyer Burger mentioned that it will deliver the necessary high-precision machines to cut silicon into solar wafers to ReneSola during the second half of 2007 and the first quarter of 2008, and that the order received amounts to a total volume of more than CHF 20 million.
Meyer Burger specifies that the volume in orders concerns a major project for the stages of expansion at ReneSola during 2007 and 2008 and consists of three subprojects. The contract for the third subproject in the amount of approx. CHF 6 million was signed by the end of March 2007. The other two subcontracts were signed by the end of September 2006 (CHF 9.3 million) and by the beginning of December 2006 (CHF 6 million).
