Meyer Burger acquires remaining share capital of AMB Apparate + Maschinenbau GmbH

 






Meyer Burger Technology Ltd (SWX Swiss Exchange: MBTN) has announced that the majority stake of 51 % of the share capital in AMB Apparate und Maschinenbau GmbH with headquartes in Langweid, Germany, has been increased to 100% through an early exercising of the call option on the remaining 49 % participation in the share capital of AMB Apparate + Maschinenbau GmbH (stipulated in the purchase contract of 10 January 2008).

The complete acquisiton of AMB underlines the strategy of Meyer Burger, to become an active worldwide leading Technolgy Group in the solar industry.

The purchase contract has been completed as of 20 November 2009. The parties have agreed to observe secrecy about the purchase price.
